News] Returned from a tour of Buddhist monuments in India

I recently returned from a trip to visit Buddhist sites in India.

On this trip, we mainly visited the holy places of Buddha, and from there we also visited Nepal and Pakistan to learn more about Buddhism.

In the future, I will be writing an article titled "The Life of Buddha Learned from Local Photographs" and a "Travel Journal of India".

Of course, we will continue to introduce the books we have read as before, but finally, our blog will be developing like a Buddhist blog (laugh).

We look forward to continuing to work with you in the future.

〔Announcement〕Hakodate City Aoyanagi Junior High School, Hakodate, Japan, July 8, 2022, for a lecture.

「宗教とは何か」を問うならばインドやイスラエル、イタリアなどを回ればそれでいいではないか。

それなのになぜ一番最初に訪れたところがアフリカのタンザニアなのか。

実はこのタンザニアこそ私が世界一周の旅を訪れる上で最も重要な場所であり、この旅の核心でもあるのでした。

今回のお話はそうした私の旅のきっかけやそこから生徒の皆さんに何を感じてもらいたいかということをお伝えさせて頂きました。

Shinran Shonin Shinran Shonin Shinran Shonin's New Year Memorial Service at Nishikiori-ji Temple, the head temple of the Shinshu Kibe sect of Shin Buddhism

２０２２年６月１６日、滋賀県野洲市にございます真宗木辺派本山錦織寺にて親鸞聖人新暦御命日法要の法話をさせて頂きました。

二年ぶりに訪れた本山。しかも今回は布教ということで非常に緊張しながらお参りさせて頂きました。

これからも精進致しますので今後ともよろしくお願いします。

Lecture at Hakodate City University for the Elderly on November 4 and 5, 2021

２０２１年１１月４、５日の２日間にわたって函館市高齢者大学講座にて講演をさせて頂きました。

今回はアウシュヴィッツ収容所を訪れた時の体験を中心にお話をさせて頂きました。

講義の前半では私が何を見て何を感じたのかということをお話し、後半は浄土真宗の開祖親鸞聖人の言葉からアウシュヴィッツという出来事を考えていきました。

Comprehensive learning class at Hakodate Aoyagi Junior High School

2021年10月20日、函館市立青柳中学校、総合学習の授業にて私の世界一周の旅で訪れたアウシュヴィッツのお話をさせて頂きました。

この青柳中学校での授業は、私にとってまさに子供の教育に関わる仕事の「初陣」となりました。これから先も、私の大切な初陣としてこの日のことは忘れられないと思います。本当に嬉しい一日になりました。
