Discover the location of Wednesday's filming at the Alhambra Palace, Spain 27

A must-see for fans! Discovering the Location of the Alhambra Palace in Spain: Monk Takahiro Ueda's Circumnavigation of the World-Spain Part 27

Following Cuenca, the Wednesday crew also visited the Alhambra Palace here in Granada.

In fact, they had also visited Campo de Cryptana, the hill of windmills, which I had introduced earlier, but I did not tell you about it.

Just to be clear, I am not visiting various parts of Spain for the purpose of touring the filming locations of "Wednesday Night Live.

I want to emphasize that the places I wanted to visit just happened to coincide with the locations.

However, it goes without saying that visiting DODONNANO DOUBUTSU filming locations is a great pleasure for me.

So, using my memory of the images I had seen on DVD as a clue, I looked around to find out where in the Alhambra Palace was used for filming.

Here is the DVD.

The "Complete Conquest of 20 European Countries" project included in this DVD was recorded in 2006.

The night view of Cuenca, which I introduced in a previous article, and the

Campo de Cryptana is also included here.

I apologize for the rough quality of the picture since I used a camera to film the TV at home, but I hope I was able to convey the atmosphere of the event, even if only somewhat.

Now, how about this: the scene where the group arrives at the parking lot of the Alhambra Palace.

From there they would move on to the palace, though,

Perhaps the arch in the second photo is this section.

And fortunately, we found a map right there.

I added my own notes to the map.

The current location is where the red square with the words "Usted esta aqui" is located.

I guessed that the blue circle was the parking lot, and from there they took the route with the red line.

And probably shot the zombie crap around the red circle. (Sorry about the content, it's only for fans)

Walk to the position circled in red for now.

Perhaps it is just around the bend.

I think it is quite similar to the video as well.

The anticipation lightens my step.

Then I saw a familiar view!

This is probably true!

It also matches the footage on the DVD.

The two people below are Mr. Oizumi and Ms. Suzui.

I finally found it!

I can't help but smile.

The reason why I am so smitten is because this place has been hard to find since I arrived in Granada.

As this map I introduced earlier shows, the route they took was actually a path along the outer wall of the Alhambra.

Yes. They were not inside the Alhambra.

Ordinary tourists basically visit the highlights inside the Alhambra.

Of course, I am one of them.

So no matter how much you try to find the location where they filmed inside, you will never find it.

I happened to have something to do at the end of this road, so I had to take this path.

That was how I stumbled upon this location.

That is why I was so happy.

An ardent fan of Wednesday's show is sometimes referred to by the affectionate honorific "baka" (idiot).

I must be one of the "idiots" who came all the way to Granada, Spain, to discover the location and smile to myself.

Let me end this article with the hope that this article will someday reach all the "Doubutsu Baka" in every corner of the country.
