Enjoy the Old Town of Dubrovnik and Adriatic Sea Small Pleasure Cruise Croatia Part 3

After a very satisfying tour of the city walls, I decided to take a walk in the old town.

The main street, Plazza Street, is very lively.

Then we went out to the yacht harbor, where there were a number of cruise receptionists and a battle of the callers.

I had not originally planned to take the cruise, but I was so impressed by the city walls that I decided to take the cruise on short notice.

Spectacular view! Morning tour of Dubrovnik city walls! Enjoy the pearl of the Adriatic Sea! Croatia Part 2

The old town of this city is surrounded by high city walls. The staff at the inn recommended it to me as a must-see when visiting the city.

As I began to walk along the city walls, a stunning view of the Adriatic Sea suddenly met my eyes. The view of the yacht harbor and the historic buildings of the old town are in perfect harmony. This is wonderful! I am instantly excited. I was instantly enchanted by the view.

The beautiful red roofs of the old town up close and the panoramic view of the entire old town from above. A tour of the city walls offers the best of both worlds.

Security Information for Bosnia and Sarajevo (as of May 2019), Bosnia (⑲)

In this article I will discuss the security situation in Sarajevo as of 2019. We hope you will find it useful for your trip.

And what is important is that you should study there thoroughly before going abroad, since various websites now introduce security measures when traveling abroad.

Also, remain vigilant and on guard throughout the trip.

This will greatly reduce the probability of damage.

"I protect myself."

With that mindset, I believe you will be able to enjoy yourself wherever you go abroad, including Bosnia.

Bosnia is truly a fascinating country.

There may be some concern about security, but there is no need to be overly fearful.

Although not yet a major tourist destination in Japan, we highly recommend this country.

The best of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the best places to visit in Bosnia and Herzegovina ⑱.

The Bosnia section, which I have been writing over 18 articles, is finally in its final stages.

The Bosnia section has been quite a heavy article as I have been writing about the conflict as my main theme.

I am sorry that this may have been a painful experience for everyone who read it.

But Bosnia is more than that.

Bosnia is a very attractive country to visit. Although Bosnia is in Europe, it is an exotic country that is different from Europe.

Although the country may still be unfamiliar to Japanese, it is currently attracting particular attention in Europe as a new popular tourist destination.

Therefore, I would like to conclude the Bosnia section with an introduction to the country's attractions.

Visiting the Museum of Genocide in Mostar, Bosnia - Shocking displays of the conflict leave you speechless Bosnia ⑰.

I will share my experience visiting the Slaughterhouse Museum in Mostar in this article.

The photos displayed here were so shocking. They were photos that conveyed the misery and cruelty of the massacre in a straightforward manner.

The bodies were massacred and buried to cover it up. After the conflict, they were found mummified or decomposed. They were photographed and displayed here. They are also displayed here in color photographs.

It was really difficult to keep looking directly at it.

I think it is the kind of thing that is not usually shown to the public in Japan.

The wax figure of the Atomic Bomb Dome that I once saw left a strong impression on me, and I think it is similar to that.

The shock of the robbery was worse than expected...Days in Mostar and the turning point of the trip ⑯ Bosnia

After the robbery in Sarajevo, I was alone in Mostar, sinking into shock. I could not go outside alone for days on end because I could not get the horror of that experience out of my mind.

I was looking back on my journey so far and came to a realization.

My journey was completely different after this day. What I learned here continues to be a great guide for me.

The symbol of Mostar, World Heritage Site Stari Most - Beautiful Bridge over the Neretva River, Bosnia Part 15 (15)

Mostar is a popular day-trip destination from Croatia, and many people come from Dubrovnik, Kotor, Split, and other resorts on the Adriatic coast.

Mostar is famous for Stari Most, a beautiful stone bridge over the Neretva River. It is one of the most representative landscapes in Bosnia.

Originally built in the Ottoman period in the 16th century, the bridge was destroyed during the Bosnian War. The current bridge was rebuilt after the conflict.

In 2005, the year after it was rebuilt, it became Bosnia's first World Heritage Site.

The Islamic Monastery of Bragai and the overwhelming beauty of the spring water, Bosnia ⑭

Bragai was a place that I was personally very interested in, and one that I was eager to visit if I ever made it to Bosnia.

Bragai is famous for its beautiful spring water and the Islamic monastery that stands there.

While there are many Christian monasteries, visiting an Islamic monastery is quite a rare experience.

When I arrived at the site, I was overwhelmed by the volume and force of the water. Looking up at the precipitous cliffs, I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume and force of the water. It was a tremendous view.

Ottoman heritage, Pochiteli - a natural fortress on a cliff, Bosnia ⑬.

The fortified city of Pochiteli was built under the Ottoman Empire. The fortress stands on top of a mountain, and the view from here is one of the most beautiful in Bosnia.

However, as our guide, Mirza, said, the place had potential as a tourist destination, but it was not fully utilized.

However, in a sense, it was a memorable experience for me to enter a building under conditions that would never be possible in Japan and to be able to view a spectacular view from the very edge of a cliff.
