文化がいかにして出来上がっていくかということを考えさせられます。

私個人としては、この本を読んで特に印象に残ったのはオプチナ修道院についての記述です。

この修道院は晩年のドストエフスキーが訪れた、ロシアのとても名高い修道院で、あのトルストイも何度も足を運んでいます。

この本はドストエフスキーのキリスト教理解を学ぶ上でも非常に重要な視点を与えてくれます。

The chapters are also progressed for each emperor, so it is very easy to understand the flow of the times.

This book is a great way to learn about the history of the country of Russia and what it has gone through to get to where it is today.

エンゲルス18歳の時に発表された『ヴッパータールだより』。

後にお話しすることになりますが、この『ヴッパータールだより』のスタイルは後の『イギリスにおける労働者階級の状態』にも引き継がれ、そしてそれはそのままマルクスの『資本論』にも直結していきます。
