The morning of my third day in Haridwar has arrived. After yesterday's visit to the Mansa Devi temple and two consecutive days of pooja, I was already at the end of my physical strength. But during my free time this morning, I decided to go for a walk.

And I was astonished by what I saw there. It was such a shock that it greatly influenced my view of Buddhism.

Second day in Haridwar. Early in the morning of this day, a man bathing in the river Ganges caught my attention. I felt the depth of his faith as he eagerly bathed in the waters of the Ganges River. However, when I saw the garbage flowing right beside him, I was forced to think about the pollution of the Ganges. I wondered why Indians do not care if the holy river is dirty.

And I was to be overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the Indian people that night.

Varanasi is the most famous holy place in the Ganges, but it is not the only holy place. In fact, it is not the only holy place in Ganges. In fact, some say that Haridwar is more beautiful and more popular in recent years. However, the reality was not so sweet.
