The Mount of Temptation in Jericho - The stage of the fatal confrontation between Christ and the Devil! Also related to "The Brothers Karamazov," Israel (7)

After walking around the ruins of the city walls, one of the main objectives of my visit to Jericho, I next headed for a place called the Mount of Temptation.

This place is based on the New Testament account of Jesus Christ, who, while on a 40-day fasting retreat, received three temptations from the devil and successfully repelled them.

And this mountain of temptation is also known as a place with serious connections to Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov.

Jericho, the oldest town in the world - Human development accelerates from here Israel Part 6

During my stay in Jerusalem, I chartered a car and drove to Jericho, a town less than an hour's drive westward from Jerusalem.

Jericho is known as the oldest city known to mankind. This was one of the places I was particularly looking forward to visiting during my stay in Israel.

In Africa, we visited the birthplace of mankind, and here in Jericho, we were able to visit the oldest city in the world.

I am very happy to be able to look around in this way to see the path that humanity has taken.
