Dostoevsky's "Double Personality (alter ego)" Synopsis and Thoughts - A self-conscious man on the verge of madness. My favorite work.
Personally I love this piece.
When I first read it, I was confused by the new Golyatkin, but as I read it again more carefully, I became very emotionally attached to the main character, the old Golyatkin.
Yes, he is clumsy, worldly, and demeaning, but he has a charm that the well-to-do and good-looking don't have.
I sympathize with such old Golyatkin.
Dual Personality" is full of different charms from feature films such as "Crime and Punishment" and "The Brothers Karamazov."
